Item Cards
When designing my cards, I had to make sure they were easily tracked for the AR programs I was using. My first test card was a simple ten of diamonds, trying to learn what the tracking programs liked and didn't, what they focused on and what they ignored.
The first card I worked on was the axe, Glitter. It became my test subject for formatting cards, making sure they were visible to the programs and software, and pleasant to look at. It helps established rules both for the computer side, and the user side with colors, symbols, text, and style.
For testing during development, I had the simple model versions of each item on their card to make sure that they could still be separated by the programs, even with the text block at the bottom being very similar ultimately.
This gallery shows the process of the cards, from rough prototypes with untextured renders to final cards with their final renders.
